In 2015 the Scottish Library and Information Council made a successful bid for funding to the Scottish Government to introduce 3D printing in public libraries.
The funding provided an opportunity to expand and develop the new technology to all Scottish library services. it helped to extend the digital offer to new audiences and support a wide range of activities in Scottish public libraries.
The Report includes hardware selection and procurement, training and project promotion.
