The School Libraries PLC group on Glow – an online application library for people in Scottish education - provides a range of resources covering the five strategic aims of the school library strategy. It is also an excellent source of Continuing Professional Development material.


Alongside CILIP, the Carnegie UK Trust has developed a new leadership course for librarians called Stepping into Leadership.

Originally developed as part of the Carnegie Library Lab (CLL), the course encourages creativity, innovation and leadership in public libraries in the UK and Ireland.


With TED-Ed you can create customised lessons, videos and animations. As well as adding interactive questions and discussion topics you can also track the results of the lessons you share online with students.
