Reading Champions

The SLIC Reading Champions Network promotes and supports reading for all ages, bringing together colleagues from across Scotland’s public library services to share ideas, best practice and new developments.

Every Scottish public library service is represented in the group, helping to promote reading and literacy throughout Scotland and support the implementation of Fast Forward: Scotland’s Public Library Refresh.

The group meets four times a year through a mix of online and in-person sessions. Events are built around speakers, discussion and activities focused on reading and literacy, providing opportunities to connect with colleagues across the country.
