This collaborative report was undertaken by Young Scot and the Scottish Library and Information Council in 2017.
It looks at library provision through the eyes of young people, creating new ideas and solutions to tackle barriers identified. it also incorporates feedback from a national survey and additional workshops run by Young Scot.
Young people have a significant role to play in encouraging organisations and communities to adopt a more collaborative culture, focusing resources to effectively meet the needs of individuals and communities.
This co-design approach ensures young people are involved much earlier in the decision making process.
