SLIC members from Further Education, Higher Education and Specialist Libraries and Information Centres can now apply to the 2025 Innovation and Development Fund.
The fund is ideal for projects and activities which encourage creative service delivery and development, including the creation of new resources, research and staff training. There is no minimum or maximum amount that can be applied for but, as the fund is relatively small, applications between £3000 – £10000 are encouraged to allow more projects to be supported. Projects also need to have a direct link to one or more of SLIC’s Strategic Aims.
How to Apply

You can apply to the Innovation and Development Fund by filling in our online form. We advise that you read through the Innovation and Development Fund Guidelines before you start your application.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on Monday 2nd February 2026.
