The Resource Discovery Fund supports projects which work towards making current resources and collections more accessible. This can cover any aspect of catalogue development.
Applicants can focus on any aspect of catalogue development as long as resources and collections are made more accessible to members of the public, students or other specified user groups.
This one-off fund is available to all members of SLIC including Further and Higher Education libraries, specialist information centres and public library services.
Members will need to align their project with SLIC's strategic objectives, outlining how their initiative will support these aims.
A total of £45,000 is available, with SLIC accepting applications until Friday 7th February 2020. Many previous SLIC funding awards have focused on the area of accessibility.
