Attend the CILIPS Annual Conference 2026 with a SLIC Bursary
The Scottish Library and Information Council is offering bursaries to attend the annual conference of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland.
The conference takes place on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd June 2026 at the Dundee Apex Hotel and will focus on the theme of Amplifying Impact.
The conference – the largest gathering of library and information professionals in Scotland – will be led by CILIPS President Shelagh Toonen.
Speakers at the two-day event include writer Grace Blakeley and Saltire Society Director Mairi Kidd as well as award winning writers Nathanael Lessore and Margaret McDonald.

Applications for the CILIPS SLIC Bursary have now closed.
Please note: the bursary is open to CILIP members who currently work for a Public Library Service, School Library Service, or a Further Education Library/Learning Centre. The bursary will cover the full conference delegate two-day package and delegates are expected to be present for the full conference. Travelling expenses are not included. The bursary is non-transferable.
