Your Voice Matters
Bridging the Gap is a national project led by the Scottish Library and Information Council to explore how Scottish library services communicate, who they reach well, and who they sometimes miss.
Through conversations and co-design workshops with Scottish library services a set of shared principles have been developed to guide future library communication.

A key part of this project is seeking the views and opinions of members of the public. A questionnaire has been created based on these principles and on practical ideas developed through earlier research.
Make it count for libraries across Scotland
We need your help to give people the opportunity to have their say. The online survey is now live on the SLIC website and we have created a Communications Toolkit and social media assets to help promote this. You can download our Toolkit and assets on our Bridging the Gap Toolkit page.
By looking at how we communicate, we can explore new ways of helping libraries become more visible, welcoming, and relevant to more people.
