The Scottish Library and Information Council is looking for tender proposals to evaluate our coworking project pilot. The successful supplier will measure the project’s impact, review the operational model and evaluate the project’s feasibility for expansion. A key element will be aligning the coworking project with Ambition & Opportunity: A Strategy for Public Libraries in Scotland 2015 – 2020.

The main aims of the project will be:

  • To create accessible spaces in communities where entrepreneurs and businesses are supported to work, meet and collaborate;
  • To offer a programme of events and activities that will support business development and encourage networking;
  • To develop a framework for introducing coworking spaces which can be used by other library services to expand the network in the future
