Would you like to attend the 10th International Evidence Based Library and Information Practice Conference? We have two EBLIP bursaries to give away to SLIC members.

The 10th EBLIP Conference takes place between the 17th and 19th of June 2019, in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. This year the main theme of the event is ‘Using Evidence in Times of Uncertainty’ which will explore concepts such as fake news, accountability and how evidence is collected and used.

Speakers at this year’s EBLIP include David Stewart, the current president of CILIP, and Dr Frankie Wilson, Head of Assessment at the Bodleian Libraries, University of Oxford.

To apply for a SLIC bursary, applicants must submit 500 words outlining why you would like to attend and what learning you anticipate taking back to your workplace.

Bursaries will cover the full conference delegate package, but not travel to and from the conference venue. All applications for SLIC bursary places should be sent to applications@scottishlibraries.org and be submitted by Friday 12th April 2019.
