The Scottish Library and Information Council is offering bursaries to attend the CILIPS 2019 Annual Conference.

Taking place on the 3rd and 4th of June at the Apex Hotel, Dundee, the Conference will explore the theme of Courage, Laughter and Innovation : A Resilient Profession. This year speakers include Lucy Crompton-Reid, CEO of Wikimedia UK, and Christian Lauersen, Director of Libraries and Citizens Services in Roskilde Municipality, near Copenhagen. 

To apply for a SLIC bursary, applicants must be a current member of CILIP and work for either a public library service or a school library in Scotland. You will also have to submit a résumé of no more than 500 words outlining why you would like to attend the conference and what learning you anticipate taking back to your workplace.

Bursaries will cover the full conference delegate package, including the conference dinner and overnight accommodation, but not travel to and from the conference venue.

All applications for SLIC bursary places should be submitted by Monday 4th March 2019.
