Applications for the SLIC Awards 2024 are now open. Established in 2021 The SLIC Awards recognise the outstanding contribution Scottish library services and their teams make to support their communities.
Open to all SLIC members, they are an amazing opportunity for libraries to showcase staff-driven initiatives that have greatly enhanced user experience. SLIC members include Scottish Public Library Services, many Further Education and Higher Education libraries, and Specialist Libraries throughout the country.
Library teams can enter two categories - the SLIC Library Service Excellence Award and/or the SLIC Project Excellence Award. Winners in both categories will receive a trophy and cash prize.
All entries must highlight the work of library services and teams which demonstrate exceptional innovation and service design between June 2023 and June 2024. An independent panel of judges will choose the eventual winners which will be announced at the SLIC Showcase and AGM on Friday 8th November 2024.
