A total of £30,000 of library funding is now available through our Innovation and Development Fund (IDF).

The Fund is ideal for projects which encourage creative service delivery and development – including the formation of resources, investment in staff training and new lines of research.

The Innovation and Development Fund was introduced in 2015 and is aimed at SLIC members who do not benefit from either the Public Library Improvement Fund or the School Library Improvement Fund. The popular Fund has helped to create many pioneering library projects over the years, including the development of new library collections and pop-up maker spaces.
