Ian is Professor of Information Seeking and Retrieval at the University of Strathclyde Information School.

Harry Mulvey


Harry is an ACCA qualified accountant with an MBA degree from Strathclyde University and many years of experience in the private sector and the NHS.

Alison is Head of Learning Resources at The Glasgow School of Art and the former Chair of the Scottish Confederation of University and Research Libraries (SCURL)

Abigail’s library sector experience has spanned public, Further Education and Higher Education. She currently manages the People and Organisational Development team at Dundee and Angus College.

Sha is the art director & publisher at BHP Comics, Scotland's only graphic novel publisher. He produces Glasgow Comic Con, Edinburgh Comic Art Festival and is the founding chair of the Scottish Independent Comic Book Alliance (SICBA).

Ann is the Programme Director for Knowledge Management in NHS Education for Scotland. She currently combines her NHS role with two commissions from the Scottish Government.

Robin has been involved in the IT sector for over 30 years mostly in sales, marketing and professional services. in 2014 he set up Abergower Ltd which helps clients implement digital transformation strategies.

John Scally is the National Librarian and Chief Executive of the National Library of Scotland. As well as being a SLIC Board Member, he is also a member of the British Library Advisory Council.

Andrew is the Head of Communities and Libraries at Glasgow Life.

Jonathan is a qualified lawyer with an MBA and through varied roles has experience with companies of all sizes in the private sector as well as academia, local and national government.

Anna McInnes has 15 years of experience working libraries across sectors and in different countries. She is currently a Senior Sales Engineer for Innovative Interfaces, a provider of library software and services. 

Robert Ruthven is the Director of Library Services at Glasgow Caledonian University and has over 25 years of experience the library sector.

Fiona is a Network Librarian for Mearns with Live Life Aberdeenshire. She has enjoyed a long career in the library sector.






Jamie is an experienced economic development professional with extensive knowledge of the Business Gateway service, Local Authority economic development activity and the Scottish Government’s Economic Strategy.
