Ian is Professor of Information Seeking and Retrieval at the University of Strathclyde Information School.

Ken McKinlay

Ken has almost 40 years of experience in local government and worked as the head of various departments before becoming Head of Service for East Renfrewshire Council. He is the current Company Secretary of the SLIC board.

Sha is the art director & publisher at BHP Comics, Scotland's only graphic novel publisher. He produces Glasgow Comic Con, Edinburgh Comic Art Festival and is the founding chair of the Scottish Independent Comic Book Alliance (SICBA).

Abigail’s library sector experience has spanned public, Further Education and Higher Education. She currently manages the People and Organisational Development team at Dundee and Angus College.

Fiona is the Libraries, Customer & Culture Senior Manager with ANGUSalive. Her responsibilities include the management of libraries, museums & galleries as well as ACCESS offices – the council’s face-to-face customer contact service.

Ann is the Programme Director for Knowledge Management in NHS Education for Scotland. She currently combines her NHS role with two commissions from the Scottish Government.

Fiona is Chair of the Association of Public Libraries in Scotland (APLS) and is the Library & Information Services Manager with Aberdeen City Council.

John Scally is the National Librarian and Chief Executive of the National Library of Scotland. As well as being a SLIC Board Member, he is also a member of the British Library Advisory Council.

Kate is the Head of Technical Data Products at Sainsbury’s Bank, where she spends her time driving the vision and strategy behind their data infrastructure and curation efforts.

Alison is Head of Learning Resources at The Glasgow School of Art and the former Chair of the Scottish Confederation of University and Research Libraries (SCURL)

Eleanor was laterly the Trade Liaison Manager for Publishing Scotland. She bagan her career as a college librarian in England before moving to book retail, working for book chains Dillons, Ottakar's and Waterstones.

Susan Ashworth is Executive Director Information Services & University Librarian at the University of Glasgow.
