In the face of recent proposals for cuts to Scottish school library services the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals in Scotland (CILIPS) has released ‘School librarianship: An advocacy strategy’ (pdf).

In 2014, we published a key piece of research, ‘The Impact of School Libraries on Learning’, conducted on our behalf by Robert Gordon University. The report highlights the significant role school libraries can play in the delivery of Curriculum for Excellence.
