Congratulations to Edinburgh Libraries who won the SLIC competition for the most creative image celebrating Mobile Libraries Day 2023. The library service won £500 for their photo which showed children from the Ratho area of the city pretending to take control of a mobile library with the help of Spiderman.
The competition formed part of Mobile Libraries Day which is organised by the Scottish Library and Information Council and supported by the Scottish Government. The annual awareness day celebrates the vital services mobile libraries provide and the important part they play within Scotland’s communities. Competition entries were of exceptional quality and SLIC would like to say a big thank you to every library service that entered.
